As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering modern analytics solutions. Together with our clients, you will develop scalable data models and analytics architectures that provide the foundation for reporting, self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- You design, develop and take ownership of analytical data models on modern data warehouses and lakehouse platforms, ensuring high quality, performance and long-term maintainability.
- You build robust data transformation pipelines using dbt and establish best practices for testing, documentation, version control and deployment.
- You design scalable analytical data models based on established modelling approaches such as Kimball, Snowflake Schema and Data Vault 2.0, integrating diverse data sources into a consistent analytics landscape.
- You establish and drive best practices for Data Quality, Data Testing, Data Lineage and Data Governance, contributing to the development of modern analytics standards.
- You optimise data models and query performance on modern cloud data platforms, leveraging lakehouse architectures and technologies such as Delta Lake and Apache Iceberg.
- You collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Data Analysts, Data Scientists and Data Engineers, translating complex business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
- You take technical ownership of workstreams or project modules, ensuring successful delivery while acting as a technical mentor and sparring partner for your colleagues.
- Through your strong communication and consulting skills, you advise clients as a trusted partner, facilitate workshops and present technical solutions in a clear and business-oriented way.
