We are a technical, implementation-oriented spin-off of a global management consultancy. Our clients are primarily DAX and Fortune Global 500 companies, which we advise on issues in the areas of analytics, big data and machine learning. Within the group, we take on the development of individual and data-driven solutions in order to transform our clients into AI-powered companies. We offer an international working environment with agile teams and creative startup methods as well as above-average remuneration and numerous additional benefits. With our offices in Hamburg, Munich and Düsseldorf and our hub locations in all other major German cities (Berlin, Frankfurt and Stuttgart), we ensure that all colleagues are integrated into our team of experts across Germany.
Your role as a Lead GenAI Solution Engineer:
Technical Leadership of AI Projects: You own the end-to-end architecture and technical delivery of GenAI solutions for clients - from strategy through to production deployment.
Team Leadership: You lead project teams, allocate work packages, ensure quality standards, and actively support the ongoing development of team members.
Architecture Decisions: You define and take ownership of technical architecture decisions for complex AI systems - including agentic architectures, RAG pipelines, and LLM integrations - and confidently represent these decisions to clients.
Senior-Level Advisory: You act as a trusted sparring partner to business units and senior management up to C-level. You translate AI capabilities into tangible business value and manage stakeholder expectations.
Scoping & Estimation: You collaborate with clients to define project scope, estimate effort, and contribute to the development of compelling proposals.
Pre-Sales & Business Development: You actively contribute to acquiring new GenAI projects by supporting proposal writing, participating in client pitches, and bringing your technical expertise into the sales process.
Mentoring: You actively develop engineers within your team through code reviews, technical sparring, and direct feedback—going beyond management to truly enable growth.
Agentic SDLC: You drive the integration of AI agents into the development lifecycle - covering AI-assisted coding, automated code reviews, and intelligent test generation. You define how agentic tools transform the SDLC within your team and for clients.
AI Services Engineering: You remain hands-on - developing solutions yourself, reviewing code, and setting technical standards for your team.
Evaluation & Monitoring: You define KPI frameworks to measure the performance of GenAI solutions and ensure their consistent application.
Who you are
Proven Track Record in GenAI: You have successfully delivered LLM-based systems into production—covering solution design, advisory, and end-to-end implementation.
Thought Leadership: You maintain a visible presence in the GenAI space - through talks, publications, open-source contributions, or a recognized voice within the community. You actively drive the topic forward.
Excellent Python Skills (Production-Ready): Strong experience in API development (FastAPI, Pydantic), containerization (Docker), testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
Deep Understanding of GenAI Architectures: Expertise in agentic systems, end-to-end RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, structured outputs, and function calling. You are able not only to make architecture decisions, but also to clearly justify them to clients.
Leadership Experience: You have led workstreams or small teams, both technically and organizationally.
Consulting Expertise: Several years of hands-on experience working directly with clients. You are comfortable facilitating workshops, presenting results at C-level, and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
Languages: Fluent in German (C1), with professional proficiency in English.
Education: Completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a comparable field (Bachelor’s degree or higher).
Willingness to travel: You are willing to work on-site at the client’s premises on a regular basis
