What you will find with us

For our growing finance team, we are looking for a Controller (all genders).

Do you like the challenge of developing the right strategies from figures and data volumes to secure the future of our growing company? Are you a number cruncher? If so, we want you on our team!

As Controller, you will play a key role in securing our company's internal controls. You’ll prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and evaluate our company's figures. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who enjoys working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role described here offers the following challenges:

Establish and further develop a company-wide controlling and reporting system
Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and ad-hoc analyses for Management and the Executive Board
Oversee internal reporting for the German entities in close collaboration with the corporate team
Prepare variance analyses and explain results at various levels of the group; closely coordinate with senior management on all business-related matters
Responsible for monthly forecasting as well as annual (multi-year) planning and budgeting
Support the optimization and expansion of controlling processes and systems across all functional areas (e.g., Sales, Utilization, HR, Marketing, IT)
Manage our management reporting system (based on Tagetik & Power BI) in coordination with the corporate team

Who you are

In addition to a strong can-do mentality and controlling experience, you own the following qualities and qualifications:

Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or a comparable field
At least 5–6 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a service or consulting environment
Entrepreneurial mindset, strong commercial skills, and the ability to quickly grasp complex issues
Experience in establishing or further developing controlling structures is a plus; solid expertise in reporting, planning, and analysis processes
Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in common BI tools (e.g., Power BI and Tagetik)
Strong analytical abilities, initiative, and a structured way of working
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex topics in a target-group-oriented manner
High IT affinity, strong numerical skills, and a high standard of quality
Service- and team-oriented personality with a hands-on mentality
Very good German and English skills (at least C1 level)

Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung eines unternehmensweiten Controlling- und Reportingsystems
Erstellung regelmäßiger Reportings, Forecasts und Ad-hoc-Analysen für Management und Executive Board
Verantwortung für das interne Reporting der deutschen Gesellschaften in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Corporate-Team
Vorbereitung von Abweichungsanalysen und Erläuterung der Ergebnisse auf verschiedenen Ebenen der Unternehmensgruppe; enge Zusammenarbeit mit der Geschäftsleitung bei betriebswirtschaftlichen Fragestellungen
Zuständigkeit für das monatliche Forecasting sowie die jährliche (Mehrjahres-)Planung und Budgetierung
Unterstützung bei der Optimierung und dem Ausbau von Controlling-Prozessen und -Systemen über alle Funktionsbereiche (z. B. Sales, Utilization, Personal, Marketing, IT)
Betreuung unseres Management-Reportingsystems (basierend auf Tagetik & Power BI) in Abstimmung mit dem Corporate-Team

Das bist Du

Du passt ideal auf die Rolle, wenn Du folgendes mitbringst:

Abgeschlossenes Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre mit Schwerpunkt Controlling, Finanzen oder einem vergleichbaren Fachgebiet
Mindestens 5–6 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Controlling, idealerweise im Dienstleistungs- oder Beratungsumfeld
Unternehmerisches Denken, starke kaufmännische Fähigkeiten und schnelle Auffassungsgabe bei komplexen Sachverhalten
Erfahrung im Aufbau oder in der Weiterentwicklung von Controlling-Strukturen von Vorteil; fundierte Kenntnisse in Reporting, Planung und Analyseprozessen
Sehr gute Excel-Kenntnisse und sicherer Umgang mit gängigen BI-Tools (z. B. Power BI und Tagetik)
Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten, Eigeninitiative und eine strukturierte Arbeitsweise
Kommunikationsstärke und die Fähigkeit, komplexe Sachverhalte zielgruppengerecht zu vermitteln
Hohe IT-Affinität, ausgeprägtes Zahlenverständnis und hoher Qualitätsanspruch
Service- und teamorientierte Persönlichkeit mit Hands-on-Mentalität
Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (mind. C1-Niveau)
